River transport

The Seine is popular for its romantic cruises. Yet, you can travel along the river as a simple commuter. Batobus has ‘water buses’ that stop next to the major attractions by the river. Frequency is between 20 and 45 minutes, depending on the day and season. Boats travel from the Beaugrenelle to Jardin des Plantes.

When going to the Jardin, the boats stop at the Left Bank (the Eiffel Tower, Orsay Museum…). When returning, they stop at the Right Bank (the Hotel de Ville, Louvre and Champs-Elysees). The boats need 2 hours to complete the loop.
